Sullivan Family’s Story

I am blessed, so very, very blessed. I have had a few rough years, health wise and a couple of surgeries and in late 2021 my brother started having health issues and it was a long-drawn-out mystery until he was finally diagnosed with liver disease. He has autism and will need a liver transplant.

As time moved on my son became sick and was finally diagnosed with EOE – an inflammation of the esophagus caused by a specific white blood cell, which causes severe stomach pains.

In 2022, Christmas was provided for our family from Ellies Elves. Truly blessed.

Along came 2023 and I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. Two weeks after that I fell down the steep steps down to our basement and needed ankle surgery. Out of work again with not enough leave to cover all our expenses.

Ellie’s Elves set up a meal train for our family. Truly blessed again. We have been checked on and asked about and thought of by this wonderful organization.

We have seen firsthand the wonderful things that Ellie’s Elves does. A birthday celebration for a sick little boy, providing furniture for folks in need. Help in setting up a household for those coming out of homelessness. Providing business attire for those going to job interviews and so much more.

They are a kind and caring organization. I have been truly blessed to have them in my life.
